Freeride World Tour 2023. Next Stop: Ordino Arcalís (Andorra)

Following an explosive event in Spain the Freeride World Tour (FWT) heads to Ordino-Arcalís (Andorra) for the second stop of the 2023 Season.

Returning to Pyrenean freeride mecca, the third stop of the FWT23 heads to Ordino Arcalís, where athletes will have one last chance to rack up the points before the cut. This venue has become a permanent fixture on tour, and for a good reason, with playful terrain offering opportunities for explosive action and creative freeride lines.

FWT organizers have decided to extend the event window by considering a possible competition day on Thursday, February 2.

The Freeride World Tour (FWT) is the premier big mountain freeskiing and snowboarding tour in the world, featuring the sport’s top athletes competing in the world’s best mountain resorts. Created in 2008, the FWT became even more global in 2012 following the union of North American-based Freeskiing World Tour, The North Face Masters of Snowboarding, and the European-based Swatch Freeride World Tour. Besides the successful implementation of this truly global FWT, the increase of Freeride World Qualifier (FWQ) and Junior Freeride Tour events in recent years show that the base of the sport is growing exponentially.

On December the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) announced that it has acquired the Freeride World Tour (FWT) and that the two organizations will join forces already for the 2022-2023 season.
