Kings of Leon will perform at the grand finale of the Ischgl ski season 2021-2022.

The American rock band is set to play on 30th April at the legendary Top of the Mountain Concert in Ischgl, at 2300 meters altitude, right in the center of the ski area.

Multi-Platinum & Grammy award-winning band concert starts at 13.00. Expect a set with all the band’s many hits and songs from all eight of their albums. Against the backdrop of the snow-covered Silvretta Arena, this will be a unique and certainly unforgettable concert experience. The day ski pass for Ischgl/Samnaun is also the ticket to the concert. 1, 2, or 3-day ski passes are available on-site for 125, 140, or 160 euros with a guest card from the TVB Paznaun-Ischgl. For all other multi-day tickets, the regular ski pass prices apply.

Kings of Leon is an American rock band that formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1999. The band is composed of brothers Caleb, Nathan, and Jared Followill with their cousin Matthew Followill.

The band's early music was a blend of Southern rock and garage rock with blues influences, but it has gradually evolved throughout the years to include a variety of genres and a more alternative, arena rock sound.

Since their debut in 2003, Kings of Leon have released eight albums (Youth & Young Manhood (2003), Aha Shake Heartbreak (2004), Because of the Times (2007), Only by the Night (2008), Come Around Sundown (2010), Mechanical Bull (2013), WALLS (2016), and When You See Yourself (2021)). The band has sold over 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles worldwide. Known for their rousing live performances, Kings of Leon have headlined all the world’s biggest and most prestigious festivals, including Glastonbury, Coachella, multiple Lollapalooza’, Roskilde, as well as Rock in Park, Nova Rock, and St. Gallen, to name but a few.

Kings of Leon follows in the footsteps of a galaxy of superstars who have entertained skiers and boarders in the Austrian resort's traditional Top of the Mountain gig. A long time ago, Ischgl decided to put its entire advertising and marketing budget into staging two massive concerts a year to open and close the winter season. Elton John was the first star to feature in the Tirolean resort's now-famous season-closing concerts, back in 1995. Since then the resort has hosted Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, Sting, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Bon Jovi, Enrique Iglesias, Atomic Kitten, Peter Gabriel, The Corrs, Alanis Morissette, Lionel Richie, Pink, the Scissor Sisters, the Pussycat Dolls, Rihanna, Elton John again, Gabriella Cilmi, Leona Lewis, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, Gossip, The Killers, Roxette, Mariah Carey, The Scorpions, Deep Purple, Nickelback, Robbie Williams, James Blunt, Thirty Seconds to Mars, The Beach Boys, PUR, Zucchero, Jason Derulo, Lenny Kravitz, and Simply Red.

Ischgl (1377m) is a truly Ski Paradise in Tirol (Austria) with 239 km of slopes and 45 modern lifts, managed by the Silvretta Seilbahn AG Company. The slopes are located at an altitude of between 2,000 and 2,872 meters making the ski resort Silvretta Arena in Tyrol the perfect winter sports region. The variety of slopes and ski routes offer an opportunity for everyone, from beginners to experts looking for challenging pistes. Eleven is the name of the longest piste with approximately 11 kilometers from the top of the ski resort in Greitspitz (2,872 meters) to Ischgl village (1,400 meters). From Ischgl, you can access the Silvretta Arena Ski Paradise, thanks to an alliance between two Companies (Silvretta Seilbahn AG and Bergbahnen Sammaun AG) and two ski resorts (Ischgl-Sammaun) from two different countries (Switzerland-Austria).
