Germany's Viktoria Rebensburg showed the field that Giant Slalom maybe her specialty, but she is skiing fast in speed this year as well. She has now recorded her 18th World Cup success and the fourth one in the discipline, and she becomes the first German woman to win two straight SuperG race since Katja Seizinger captured 5 in a row in 1997.
The second and third steps of the podium are occupied by two athletes who conquer it for the first time in this discipline.
The biggest threat to Rebensburg win came from the back of the pack, the young Italian Nicol Delago, who skied into second from bib 31.
Behind Delago was Switzerland’s Corinne Suter, who followed up her Downhill podium with yet another podium in the Super-G.
