In addition to being a world-class ski resort and après ski, Ischgl has achieved enormous notoriety for its events, among which is the Top of the Mountain Concert, which stands out. A concert with world-class figures that marks the beginning and end of the season, and that year after year, brings together thousands of people to enjoy music and skiing.

The Tyrolean ski resort has built a reputation for having the world's top superstars. It will not disappoint again this season with Rita Ora performing at the Grand Opening of the Ischgl ski season 2025-2026 on November 29.

After the first day of skiing on November 27, 2025, Rita Ora will provide the first concert highlight only two days later, on November 29, 2025. Starting at 4:30 pm, the party gets underway with a powerful DJ set guaranteed to get the crowd fired up. The spectacular live concert against the backdrop of the nightly mountain scenery starts at 6:00 p.m. at the parking area of the Silvrettabahn in Ischgl.

British singer, songwriter, and actress Rita Ora is one of the most successful pop artists of her generation. Since her debut album ORA in 2012, she has stormed the international charts with hits such as Anywhere, Your Song, I Will Never Let You Down, and Let You Love Me, and has received multiple platinum awards. Her unmistakable mix of pop, R&B, and dance, combined with energetic live shows, thrills fans worldwide.

Her musical success story is impressive: after a sold-out European tour, she made a spectacular return to the stage in 2017. Her second studio album, Phoenix (2018), was a huge success, streaming over 330 million times in the UK alone. Her last five singles have surpassed one billion Spotify streams worldwide. The hit Your Song achieved more than 352 million streams and is considered her biggest success in Europe. Collaborations with stars such as Avicii (Lonely Together) underscore her versatility.

With Let You Love Me, Rita Ora broke a 30-year-old record: she became the first British artist to achieve 13 top 10 singles in the UK charts, overtaking legends such as Shirley Bassey and Petula Clark. Several of her songs also made it into the most-streamed tracks and airplay charts of 2018.

Rita Ora follows in the footsteps of a galaxy of superstars who have entertained skiers and boarders in the Austrian resort's traditional Top of the Mountain gig. Years ago, Ischgl decided to put its entire advertising and marketing budget into staging two massive concerts a year to open and close the winter season. Elton John was the first international star to feature in the Tirolean resort's now-famous season-closing concerts in April 1995. Since then, the resort has hosted Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, Sting, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Bon Jovi, Enrique Iglesias, Atomic Kitten, Peter Gabriel, The Corrs, Alanis Morissette, Lionel Richie, Pink, the Scissor Sisters, the Pussycat Dolls, Rihanna, Elton John again, Gabriella Cilmi, Leona Lewis, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, Gossip, The Killers, Roxette, Mariah Carey, The Scorpions, Deep Purple, Nickelback, Robbie Williams, James Blunt, Thirty Seconds to Mars, The Beach Boys, PUR, Zucchero, Jason Derulo, Lenny Kravitz, Simply Red, Kings of Leon, Sean Paul, George Ezra, Eros Ramazzotti, Demi Lovato, the Black Eyed Peas, Ellie Goulding, and One Republic.

Ischgl is a true Ski Paradise in Tirol (Austria) with 239 km of perfectly groomed slopes, 45 lifts, and guaranteed snow from November to early May, thanks to the ski resort's high altitude and 1,100 snowmaking guns.

The modern lifts managed by the Silvretta Seilbahn AG Company offer a high level of comfort. Opened in January 2014, with a 1,251-meter difference in altitude, the 3-S Pardatschgratbahn in Ischgl is one of the largest of its kind. The ascent from the valley up to the mountain station takes about nine minutes. A cable car of superlatives, forming the entry point to the Silvretta Arena, together with the Fimbabahn and Silvrettabahn cable cars.

From Ischgl, you can access the Silvretta Arena Ski Paradise, the third-biggest ski resort in Tirol, thanks to an alliance between two Companies (SilvrettaSeilbahn AG and BergbahnenSammaun AG) and two ski resorts (Ischgl-Sammaun) from two different countries (Switzerland and Austria).

A variety of pistes (20 blue, 40 red, and 25 black) and ski routes offer an opportunity for everyone, from beginners to experts looking for challenging pistes. Eleven is the name of the longest piste with approximately 11 kilometers from the top of the ski resort in Greitspitz (2,872 meters) to Ischgl village (1,400 meters).

15 mountain restaurants and ski huts, with Tyrolean specialties or international dishes, will complete a perfect day of skiing in Ischgl.

The day ski pass also serves as a concert ticket and costs 95 euros for adults and 60 euros for children on the day of the event. Admission is included in valid multi-day ski passes for two days or more. Tickets are now available online at: ischgl.skiperformance.com.
